Innovyze Proudly Releases InfoWorks ICM 9.0

Portland, OR, USA, May 31, 2018

Innovyze is a global leader in water infrastructure analytics, and we are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art tools for the water industry. The success of our clients is paramount and is a foundation for our work in the water infrastructure analytics industry. For these reasons, we are thrilled to announce the release of InfoWorks ICM 9.0.

InfoWorks ICM is an advanced modeling solution that allows users to leverage workgroup and fully integrated 1D & 2D simulation capabilities to build complete catchment models you can trust.

In addition to all current features, some highlights in InfoWorks ICM 9.0 include the following features:

  • NEW: Visual Indicator for Schedule Run: A “Scheduled Run” will now highlight when the model network could be updated to latest version, reducing the chance an out of date model network being simulated inadvertently.
  • NEW: Workgroup Changes on Open: Workgroup users opening a local cache model will be alerted when a more recently committed version of the model is available.
  • NEW: User-Defined Water Quality Process Improvements: A dissolved and attached pollutants process named “growth products” now exists to support their interaction.
  • NEW:  SUDS Surface Control Redirection: A modelled SUDS (sustainable urban drainage system) now allows specific surfaces to be targeted for application.
  • NEW: Auto-regressive Moving-Average (ARMA): ICM now allows the ARMA method to be implemented, giving the capability to use this adjusted runoff as well as node level, 1d results point and 2d results point outputs with post-processing forecast predictions.
  • NEW: Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) Build-up/Wash-off: The SWMM Build-up/Wash-off model has been implemented in ICM and allows for its use in the software.
  • ENHANCEMENT:  Performance Improvements on Mesh & Reported Results: Larger meshes can now be generated and displayed faster, with up to 30 million elements and text log files can now be opened directly in ICM when above 50mb.

Innovyze Product Manager, Matthew Anderson, PE was enthusiastic in discussing the new product features: “It is our goal to help make our clients’ job easier. With ICM’s workgroup functionality we take collaboration on full catchment modeling to the next-level, making it easier for teams to co-act in solving complex problems dealt with on a daily basis.”

These updated features for InfoWorks ICM 9.0 will help modelers save time, ensure accuracy, and empower stakeholders to act adaptively, instead of reactively, when managing all sources of flooding.
