The course is scheduled for one day and will be charged as such. However, this is the first time this course has been run and therefore we cannot be certain of the amount of time it will take. If the course is not completed at the end of the day, additional time will be provided for free at a mutually agreed date, possibly the following day.
The course is aimed primarily at those with some experience although anyone new to drainage design will benefit. Participants will learn how to build models in InfoDrainage. The processes of pipe design, simulation and results analysis will be taught. The course focuses on the enhanced capabilities for represented SuDS, which InfoDrainage provides. The course ends by taking participants step by step through the design of a drainage system including both SuDS and traditional storage features.

Online learning
The courses will be conducted using Teams software, which allows two way communication between the instructor and the class.
To participate you will need two screens, one to run the software and the other to watch the presenter or their screen. A headset with microphone would also be very useful if you are in an area that will disturb others.
You will operate the software using a ‘virtual’ computer which we will provide and which you can access from your computer, whether from home or in the office. We will provide you with login details a day or so before the course starts. This virtual machine includes the software and data required to run the course. In other words, there is no need for you to install the software on your computer, to participate in the training.
If required, training notes will be posted to you in advance of the training.
Class sizes will be strictly limited as we understand the challenges associated with remote learning, please also note we need a minimum of 4 attendees for the course to proceed.
