Get more from inspections

Whether its NASSCO certified CCTV inspections, focused electrode leak location (FELL), or acoustic sensor data, InfoAsset Planner can intake and process your inspections to drive repair and replacement plans.

Understand the risks in your system and keep pipes from breaking

Assess risk of structural failure to prioritize assets in a flexible way. Leverage deterioration models to statistically predict future pipe failures, including failure definition, sensitivity analysis, cohort models, and regression analysis that includes non-linear regression curves.

Develop rehabilitation plans easily

Prepare a rehabilitation plan to get actionable decisions for each asset based on your desired logic. Consider condition, risk, and budget to determine the right action, at the right time, in a way that is justified and repeatable.

What you can do with InfoAsset Planner

Import data from various sources

InfoAsset Planner is designed to be very flexible for easy import of many different data types:

  • Hydraulic Modeling—InfoAsset Planner lets you import existing InfoWater, InfoSewer, or InfoSWMM hydraulic models.
  • InfoAsset Manager can provide useful historical and current asset information for InfoAsset Planner to consume.
  • GIS, control how shapefiles, feature classes, tables, or any other objects recognized by InfoAsset Planner may be imported into the project database.

Organize asset data clearly

The following tools can help you organize and edit your InfoAsset Planner data easily:

  • Work management: import, organize, and store work management information or CMMS data in your project database for use in InfoAsset Planner analyses.
  • Data Inference: InfoAsset Planner has the ability to infer different types of missing data.
  • Data validation: to fully understand the data being evaluated in further analyses, InfoAsset Planner can validate your data in order to flag missing or erroneous values.
  • Facility selection: save static selections of InfoAsset Planner facility type and vertical asset objects. You can create facility selections in a variety of ways and use them to divide single facility types into multiple parts.
  • Vertical assets: even though InfoAsset Planner is designed for linear and point assets, it also offers some options for vertical asset integration and analysis, such as pumps, switchboards, outlets, control systems, or tanks when you are representing a treatment plant by a point asset.

Turn Your Asset Data into Prioritization Actions

  • Prioritize according to risk:
    • InfoAsset Planner shows you where you’ve got problems and analyzes their likelihood and consequences of failure (LOF and COF) using the latest modeling techniques. You can adjust the risk parameters to suit your organization’s strategic priorities.
  • Understand how your assets fail:
    • The software’s deterioration and survival statistical modeling tools show you the remaining life of all types of water and wastewater assets.
  • InfoAsset Planner can leverage its analysis capabilities and imported data into actionable decisions for each asset based on your desired logic with a rehabilitation plan. It consists of a customizable decision tree which can view analysis results, associated GIS data, and even defect-by-defect inspections to assign actions to assets.
  • Prioritize renewal projects:
    • Let InfoAsset Planner guides you to incorporate multiple assets and their associated work into prioritized project areas. It automates the project creation from asset-level analysis data and cost information and facilitates the communication and reporting of CIP decisions.
